Atlanta, I know Keith Lee has been the conversation this week, but quick PSA. There is a school board election and only around 7,000 people went to early vote out of a population over 490k people. Registered voters is over 300,000 people.

Fulton County as a whole is over 1 million people and only 21,000 people went to early vote. There are some city council races in Fulton County.

I care one because I would love to see @callmeshivy elected to the school board, he’s a leader, a family man, and a great educator. There are no Black men currently on the APS school board. You can change that this week.

I also care, because if the SOUTH will rise, Atlanta is a huge part of that. Consistency in voting is how we make change, if you care about your kids future show up for the school board elections and city council races. They impact your lives the most.

So I know the buzz this week was all about the food scene, but spreading information about this weeks election could actually improve your community. The choice of course is always yours, I hope you spread the word and show up to Do YOUR Part.
