Going to the beach yesterday has completely wiped me out! I have spent most of the day on the sofa in and out of naps.

I will be heading to bed before 9 and watching as much of Big Brother as I can before i fall asleep 😂

Such a busy and excellent week! I am loving teaching Year 2.

I am off to Weston-Super-Mare tomorrow with a colleague and our head pupils to help our local SVP group take members of our parish to the seaside for the day.

I am so excited for a day at the beach ☀️🏖️

That was a great first week back in work. I am very tired today.

My new class is lovely and I am loving the challenge of teaching Year 2!

Well that alarm was a shock!

Pretty much saw every two hours last night 🤣

So, the summer holidays 2026 are complete. Alarm is set, lunch is prepped and I have started to get myself ready to get back into some routine.

INSET day tomorrow, before welcoming the children back on Wednesday. A new exciting chapter for me with teaching Year 2!

These holidays have been a mixture. Mum was seriously ill in hospital for the first half…she is doing okay now. Then the second half have been amazing.
