@MikeAScotto That is good he feels that way. The way they played in game 7 was a huge disappointment. They were not ready to play. They just went thru the motions. If you're a #1 seed, it should be disappointing to a coach to not make the finals.
Tom Izzo shares an uncomfortable truth about earning your spot.
"You play real good, you start. You don't play as good, you work your way back in."
"That's the American way - except America has gotten soft."
You don't get what you want in life - you get what you earn.
It starts with showing up and earning it every single day.
No shortcuts...Just hard work.

Hockey runs through the state of Michigan. And why Detroit will always be Hockeytown.
In 2004, Tilly Smith was on vacation in Thailand with her family. While everyone was enjoying the ocean, Tilly noticed something weird.
The water didn't just go out... it began to bubble and sizzle, looking like "frying beer."
Most adults on the beach just stared at it, confused. But Tilly started screaming.
Just two weeks earlier, prior to this vacation, her geography teacher had shown Tilly's class a video of a tsunami in Hawaii.
Tilly recognized the bubbling water as the warning sign of a massive wave.
She warned her parents who told her to calm down and that they couldn't see any immediate danger. They didn't believe her. She was adamant about it and became hysterical, crying until her parents finally believed her and asked the hotel staff, who agreed Tilly was right.
They managed to clear the entire beach just minutes before the deadly Boxing Day Tsunami hit, which claimed the lives over 228,000 people in total.
Because of Tilly, the beach she was on was one of the few beaches on the island with zero casualties.
Quinn Hughes on his “mentor” Dylan Larkin:
“Larks has been like a big brother to me… I think I met him at a frat party when I was a freshman.
But he’s awesome… and I just follow from what a big heart Larks has. He’s always told me to pay it forward and I think that’s a great message.”
