Business & Computer Studies Teacher/Teacher Librarian in Toronto. Department head (AKA "ACL"). If I have my way, every student will learn Financial Literacy!
Very proud of our work outlining diagnostic criteria for CMMRD. Let's diagnose, properly screen for cancer and provide treatments. A great international, collaborative effort. @Uri_Tabori@ZaneCohenCentre@SinaiHealth
A Summary of Remote Learning Resources in one place at https://t.co/LSCv2eaE4Z. Preparing for 2020/2021, whatever that might look like @tdsb remote learning #tdsbRL. @tdsb_dll @LC1_TDSB@LC2_TDSB@LC3_TDSB@LC4_TDSB
@msolomonteacher Find a mentor to do a demo. with you. I spent an hour with someone who's done VS and it was so much more productive playing around & asking questions, than watching a video/observing someone speak @ me (via Google Meet?). Brightspace is more powerful than GC. Lots of features!
Here's my brother's new song and video! It's his response to #QuarantineLife and the #COVID19 situation. I love the @Storm_City representation!!!

@powe2550 In my neighbourhood (and classroom), it's proper behaviour to spell colour the right (ie. Canadian) way! Btw, please stay two metres away from me when you deliver my cheque for providing this information.
We found a racoon sleeping in our tree today. I went out with pots & pans banging away as loud as I could, & even though it woke up, it refused to move. Finally, I played Alec Eiffel by @PIXIES over my phone and within a minute it was gone! Thanks @MrBlackFrancis! #truestory
Grocery store debit machines should allow tips. I grabbed a couple of twoneys from my car after shopping, to tip the cashier & greeter. I'm still shocked that we have to use cash to tip these front line workers who risk their lives every day. #Covid_19#GroceryWorkers
I bet that plastic wrap they used cost more than a dollar! Whatever you do, don't look at Dollarama's balance sheet. (Btw, their financial mess existed way before the pandemic.) #scary#IDC4U1
@StevenMcInnis1 @Questrade True, but as I'm sure you learned @StevenMcInnis1 there have been many financial disasters and we usually learn some key lesson from each one.
I love this chart from @Questrade: https://t.co/aHxj6G7jsz If you're feeling a sense of panic right now, perhaps you should assess your risk tolerance level. I look at these stock (and bond) market declines with fascination. Maybe I'm weird! #IDC4U#FinLit
I saw these flowers at @SinaiHealth : a couple whose wedding had been postponed sent these as thanks to doctors, nurses and support staff. "During these challenging times, it is more important than ever that we turn any negative into a positive"
