#OTD April 25, 62:
Death of Mark the Gospel writer while imprisoned in Alexandria in the eighth year of Nero, according to Vetus Martyrologium Romanum (an old Roman collation of martyr accounts).
We're not trying to throw shade at anyone, but like, come on folks. If you're someone that tosses trash out while you're driving, kindly reconsider. Help us keep Missouri healthy and beautiful 🌲🌾🚮
@AppleTV your MLS work is less than impressive. You missed the start of the second half, and you completely missed the second goal of @stlCITYsc and San Diego. You’ve been doing this long enough you should have it figured out by now. Please do better.
A duck chose a school as home & returns every year to lay her eggs. When they hatch she leads the ducklings through the corridors to the courtyard lake. It’s now an annual ritual with children staying silent out of respect. Respect is beautiful.

Congratulations to Ruth, freshman, and winner of the Q2 Cougar Character Award!
Ruth is actively involved in theatre, choir, praise team, archery club, and knitting club, embracing opportunities to grow creatively, relationally, and spiritually. Beyond campus, Ruth serves through dance and performance at New Town Dance Academy, assists with Pep Squad at Child of God, and participates in youth leadership, choir, and melodrama ministries through Chapel of the Cross and Our Savior.
Mrs. Maddick said, "Ruth is a shining example of God's love and heart to the world around her. She is quick to step in when help is needed without hesitation. This is evident in the classroom, where she lifts others up in prayer and steps up to lead in small ways within our OIKOS group."
Congrats, Ruth!
Lutheran High Sunday at Our Savior Lutheran Church!
Join us for the 8:15 a.m. service this Sunday as the LHS Concert Choir shares beautiful music and we’ll share how God is at work through Lutheran High.
We’d love to see you there and look forward to visiting more congregations this school year.
Welcome back, Emily Engelhardt!
We’re thrilled to welcome Emily Engelhardt (LHS ’20) as our new Head Girls Soccer Coach!
Emily graduated from UMSL in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and currently serves as a staff accountant at Enterprise Fleet Management. For the past three years, she’s poured her heart into coaching high school girls—and we’re excited to see her step into this new leadership role.
When she’s not on the field or at work, you’ll find Emily at the climbing gym, reading a great book, or playing sports with friends. One thing she wants every LHS student and athlete to know: she loves talking to people about Jesus and sharing His love through her conversations and actions.
We’re blessed to have Emily continue her journey with the LHS family—this time as Head Coach!
