We have had a wonderful day celebrating #LiverpoolMathsParty 🤩 We started the day by creating Mondrian inspired art to represent 3 digit numbers. In the afternoon, we enjoyed lots of fun maths activities and ate some party treats! @MabLanePri @llpartnership @MrScarrMLP🕺🎉🎈

This morning, Y4 Cream explored our outdoor space to spark their creativity. Using their senses as inspiration, they gathered ideas and began experimenting with figurative language in preparation for writing their acrostic poems about Autumn! 🍂 🪾🎃 @MissWilliamsMLP @MabLanePri

Girls from Year 5 and 6 represented Mab Lane this week at a @SaleSharksRugby event. We enjoyed playing some games against other schools and continuing to develop our rugby skills 🏉

In today’s PE lesson, we continued to perfect our gymnastics skills! We practised cartwheels and backwards rolls - focusing on using the correct technique and performing the movement with control🤸‍♀️Well done all! 🙌 @MabLanePE @MabLanePri @GymfinityKids

Y4 Cream acted out Hannibal’s attack on Rome in today’s History lesson! Each child played a different part of Hannibal’s army to bring the story to life!🏛️🏺 A special well done to the elephants, who were very commited to their role🙌😂 @MabLanePri

Y4 showed fantastic focus in gymnastics this week! 🏃‍♂️🤸‍♀️ We practised jumping and landing with control - taking off and landing on two feet. We also used the springboard to practise our straddle! Great technique and teamwork all round! 👏@MabLanePE @MabLanePri

In today’s PE lesson, we were treated to a circuit which focused on a variety of different skills. We practised jumping and landing, holding our balance in various positions and safely using different apparatus. Well done all🤸‍♀️🙌👏 ⁦@MabLanePE⁩ ⁦@GymfinityKids⁩

In maths, we went 🦆 fishing! Each duck had a 4-digit number and our job was to find 1, 10, 100 and 1000 more or less. A fun way to consolidate our knowledge of place value in 4 digit numbers! 🙌👏 @MrScarrMLP @MabLanePri
