@MasherMinecraft Too not to. 🌟Yes but more specifically that the low pH had denatured the enzymes needed for germination to occur. Good deductions. 🌟

The results are in. The class found out that the highest mean number of germinated cress seeds (7 out of 10) was in soil treated with a pH6 solution closely followed by pH7 which had a mean seed germination of 5 out of 10. No one had any seed germination for pH2 or pH4, but why?

Another day, another cress based investigation. Some Yeat 12s have set up a series of samples under different light filters to investigate the effects of different wavelengths of light on the growth of cress. #alevelbiology #activelearning #science

This morning some Year 9s applied their learning of the human digestive system to that of Rattus norvegicus (brown rat) 🐀🔪. Most could identify the organs and state the organs function. How many organs can you identify? #biology #dissection #activelearning
