@Jesfest_ @OrdinaryGamers Because the studio is still active and publishing updates (last one being now in respects for payday 3), I don't think Overkill is planning on ever killing a game if it's not 1 already dead or 2 gets a sequel. Which at that point ye no ones gone be playing.

@OrdinaryGamers Its not like GTA where online is just a component and SP is the core. In payday, online IS the game and offline is just a touch for the beginners in the tutorial level. So it being always-online is more of a "God I hate this new medium" rather then "Death row".

@OrdinaryGamers I mean not really man, ye it sucks that it has to be always-online but at the same time I do think anyone enjoyed Payday 2 offline. Coop is what made it fun and playable past 3-skull level heists. Essentially if and when the servers shut down no one will play the game anyway.
