Four years ago I crisscrossed the city promising to hold repeat violent offenders accountable, rebuild the State’s Attorney’s office, protect our older adults, and stand up for victims of crime.

Four years later, I've held true to my word. We've delivered historic reductions in homicides and violent crime. We've held those who commit quality-of-life crimes accountable through our Citation Docket. We created a new Older Adult and Disabled Persons Unit and expanded our city's Victim and Witness Division.

We've made Baltimore safer by being "smart on crime.” We’re setting the right priorities, handing down tough but fair sentences for violent crime, and building stronger relationships with our communities.

The offender will be held accountable for their action, given community service, while also being offered wrap-around services

While I may not have any candidates running against me, I will still be out knocking on doors and attending great events like this to hear from the residents of Baltimore - like Kevin from Ednor Gardens - on what they feel are the issues the @baltimoresao and I should be focused on; and to ask you once again for your vote.
