Market is open but be like say na this @PeterPsquare na go be Trendline for the week.
I’m certain this guy naa Dey talk the truth.
In an argument, anyone who’s quoting and bringing out dates & specs rarely lies and fears nothing cos they’re saying the truth.
Forex isn't a scam. The dream being sold is often the problem.
Forex didn't start today. It's been around for decades. The market is the same whether you're in Nigeria, South Africa, the UK, or the United States. There's nothing like "Nigerian Forex." What Nigeria has experienced is the rise of Forex influencing, not a different version of the market.
And that's where many people get it wrong.
Forex is one of the hardest professions you can choose. It's not a get-rich-quick scheme. If it were, everyone would be rich by now. Only a small percentage of traders ever become consistently profitable. That alone should tell you this isn't child's play.
So why does it seem like everyone is suddenly a Forex mentor?
Simple.
Most people don't discover Forex through reality, they discover it through fantasy.
They see luxury cars, vacations, screenshots of profits, designer clothes, and captions like, "I made this before breakfast." Naturally, they get excited. They buy a course, learn a strategy, draw a few lines on a chart, and believe the money will start flowing.
Then reality arrives.
The market doesn't care about your excitement.
The strategy they bought doesn't magically make them profitable. They begin to lose trades. They realize that the real battle isn't even the strategy, it's themselves.
Fear.
Greed.
Revenge trading.
Impatience.
Overconfidence.
These are the things that destroy traders, and unfortunately, no course can fully teach you how to conquer them. That's a journey every trader has to take alone.
After spending money on courses and losing money in the market, many people decide they need another way to recover their investment. So they package the same strategy they learned into a new course and begin teaching others.
The new students repeat exactly the same cycle.
They buy the course.
They learn the strategy.
They enter the market.
Reality humbles them.
Then they become teachers too.
Before long, we've stopped producing Forex traders and started producing Forex instructors.
It's almost like we've turned Forex into a College of Education—everyone is graduating as a lecturer before becoming a professional trader.
But here's the important part:
None of this makes Forex a scam.
The market isn't the problem.
The unrealistic expectations are.
Think about it.
A doctor spends six to eight years in school before earning the trust to treat patients.
Lawyers spend years studying before standing confidently in court.
Engineers dedicate years to mastering their craft.
Yet some people believe they'll watch a few YouTube videos, draw support and resistance lines for two weeks, and start making $10,000 every month.
It doesn't work that way.
Forex rewards skill, discipline, patience, emotional control, and thousands of hours of experience.
That's why I don't recommend Forex to everyone.
Not because it's fake.
Because it's difficult.
It's like professional football. Everyone loves watching football, but very few people have what it takes to play at the highest level. Talent alone isn't enough. You need discipline, sacrifice, consistency, and resilience.
Trading is no different.
If you're not willing to go through that process, you'll probably quit.
But if you're passionate, patient, and willing to keep learning even after countless setbacks, there's absolutely no reason you can't become profitable.
And let me burst one more bubble.
Some of the most profitable traders in Nigeria don't post daily profit screenshots.
They don't argue online.
They don't chase followers.
They quietly make their money, close their laptops, and go to bed.
That doesn't mean everyone posting online is fake. Some influencers genuinely make money from trading too.
The point is simply this:
Forex isn't a scam.
The shortcuts, the false promises, and the illusion that it's easy, that's what misleads people.
The market rewards competence, not confidence.
And that's a reality every trader eventually learns.
Crypto Tips 101
Before you trade any crypto pair, ensure you know understand the structure for $BTC.
Unless it’s a new crypto coin/rugg/inside trading.
History has a strange way of editing people’s lives.
It removes all the failed attempts,
and leaves only the final result.
Nobody introduces Michael Jordan as the player who missed over 9,000 shots.
Nobody introduces Thomas Edison as the man who failed thousands of experiments.
The ending always rewrites the journey.
But here’s what people forget quickly:
Those who endure the struggle long enough
are the ones who eventually get remembered for winning.
Lesson ?
Stay long enough to write a story worth editing at the end of the day
