We have successfully concluded Day 1 of the Assisted Vaginal Delivery (AVD) Training at Kawempe National ReferralHospital, organized by @NasmecUG in collaboration with the @MinofHealthUG .
AVD is a critical skill that reduces the burden of Caesarean Sections.
@NasmecUG , in collaboration with @MinofHealthUG and UCREPP, is conducting a hands-on training on Assisted Vaginal Delivery(AVD) @KawempeNRH . This follows findings from the 2023 EmONC needs assessment(👏🏿@UNFPAUganda ) that highlighted low AVD performance nationwide.
