What about VAT? It was clearly identified as an 'Austerity Measure' when it was put up from 17.5% to 20% way back in 2011. Yet after 8 years of milking it, it was 'proudly' announced a few years ago (2019), that we are 'out of austerity', yet VAT was kept at 20% #JeremyVine
