Wrapped up the annual #dataretreat with the team @MosineeHigh and @CESA9. My big takeaway and food for thought: "People don't buy into initiatives, they buy into people." How do we as leaders help teachers move forward?

We ended up using tables to try to find the point of intersection. Had a conversation about the similarities between the data points. Was a good transition from graphing into linear functions unit.
Ss were so engaged in problem solving they got out of their seats and NEEDED to be at the screen to debate and estimate when these two lines would intersect. I've never been forced out so that they could just teach each other.
It was an honor to be selected by a student for tonight's Educator Appreciation Night for @MosineeHigh's soccer game. These young men fought hard at both the JV and Varsity level. Keep up the great work!
Day 2 of STEM Exploratorium: Spaghetti and marshmallow towers. Lots of great conversation about forces, rectangles, triangles, but most importantly that failure is okay! #summerschool#STEM#pugshot
Processing a conversation yesterday when a student said, "I get it now." If you try to develop understanding first, should you expect delays in developing fluenecy and is that okay? Frustrating from a student view, but potentially longer lasting overall. Thoughts? #mathchat
Working on review for #quadratics for #algebra. Digital notecards using #GoogleSlides. Ss are assigned vocab and need to define, show multiple representations, and find resources to learn. Looking for feedback https://t.co/8F8564MKpg
