The Cochrane review on influenza vaccines in children found inactivated vaccines reduce the risk of influenza by 64% (high-certainty evidence) and live attenuated vaccines by 78% (moderate-certainty evidence).

On hospitalizations and deaths, Cochrane stated they “found no data on hospitalisation” — meaning no RCTs measured this outcome. That’s completely different from finding “no evidence of benefit.” Absence of evidence does not equal evidence of absence.

Cochrane’s strict RCT-only methodology isn’t designed to capture rare outcomes like deaths. Observational studies consistently show flu vaccines reduce pediatric hospitalizations and mortality.

RFK Jr. is exploiting a methodological nuance to mislead the public about a vaccine that protects children.

He is responsible for the deaths of countless American citizens, and will now be pardoned by Donald Trump.
