use X much less than I used to because I simply don’t have as much time. Still, a while ago I managed to win a silver medal in the Storytelling category at Kontrast miniature painting festival, and I’m kinda proud of that.

It always amazes me why, as archaeologists, we would ever want to hide the truth. What would be the point of that? It certainly wouldn’t be about money 😂. Very good post BTW
As an Egyptologist I am genuinely amazed by how marvelous ancient Egyptian monuments like the great pyramid, giant temples, & monolithic colossal statues & obelisks are. Since they made them with simple hand tools and basic technology, its even more incredible. Their ingenuity, talent & inventive solutions to overcoming complex problems with simple ancient tech is astounding."
Unfortunately, lots of alternative archaeologists" like @JonesDanny@ForbiddenHistry@TheLandOfChem@RjNol@4biddnKnowledge@BrightInsight6@TheProjectUnity@4gottnHistory@ancientorigins@Graham__Hancock imagine the Egyptian's couldn't have done this without help, either from advanced technology they somehow developed themselves, which has never turned up in the archaeological record, or from alien civilizations, or inheriting them from some ancient precursor civilization. No real evidence of these have ever turned up in the archaeological record.
Often the perfection and abilities of the ancient architects, Egyptian or otherwise, is greatly exaggerated. But, if their technology was equal to or better than ours, they frankly did a sloppy job, because they are NOT as perfect as people think. How could they be without industrial tools, laser mills and cutters, diamond tipped saws & drills, steam or electric powered steel machine tools, etc. The Egyptians had NONE of these things.
Egyptian inscriptions, art, architecture, artifacts, & the context where these monuments were placed (cemeteries!) all make it absolutely crystal clear that pyramids were TOMBS OF PHARAOHS, & not ANYTHING ELSE.
It's time for all you alternative archaeology guys to do the following:
1) stop inventing elaborate theories about the pyramids just because you want to show up & don't trust the archaeologists & think you're smarter than they are. If you can't prove it by modern scientific standards by submitting your ideas to the scientific review process or need to say "mainstream science" is conspiring against you, then no one but other conspiracy theorists are going to take you serious. I've noticed that a lot of you are very free with the insults & often condemn the whole field of archaeology. Somehow we're stupid & ignorant yet clever enough to organize a conspiracy to cover up the "truth". Some of you guys are pretty thin skinned when your ideas are challenged. You can dish it out but you can't take it. Too often I see bullying behavior from some of you when challenged. Detailed rebuttals from experts are shouted down, mocked, or ignored as it suits you. I've experience all three.
2) Look at all the real evidence in total & don't take a single anomaly & decide it overturns the mountains of evidence pointing in the opposite direction = Pyramids are tombs built by the Egyptians with simple bronze age technology. Cherry picking the evidence you want & ignoring the rest & accusing archaeologists of being "closed minded" for not buying what your selling is totally hypocritical. How many of those who doubt the "mainstream narrative" have bothered to look at even a fraction of the scientific archaeological work on the pyramids over the past 100 years? Dismissing it as "lies, BS, cover-up, etc." won't cut it. Don't call archaeologists closed minded when you won't lift a finger to take our ideas and evidence seriously. Just saying "the Egyptologists are wrong, the Egyptians couldn't/wouldn't/didn't have done that..." doesn't hold water.
3) Drop this and similar language from your posts: "History is a lie" "Everything they tell you is a lie" "This changes everything" "mainstream archaeologists...(something bad)"
4) stop claiming/assuming that: archaeologists, historians, scientists in general are: fools, liars, covering things up; are engaged in conspiracy; don't know what their talking about; are careless with or have bad intentions against sites like Göbekli Tepe; are out to get you (alternative archaeologists); are trying to suppress THE TRUTH; are trying to silence you (as if I could & I have no interest in doing so); are "persecuting" you; etc. etc.
@banishedzone Maybe games just good? Company is just huge and it's their side project, events have high demand, not so scammy (I've never seen 5000ppl trying to enter Calling...) and the franchise is konwn by everyone? I'm saying that as long time FaB fan 🫣
@AlekArabadzic@SledziuStream Strony internetowe z figurkami - cool mini or not https://t.co/YW7AYrVYEO (w zasadzie istnieje 'od zawsze', ale mocno się zmieniła) i putty and paint - https://t.co/cMgQqwDsOV (nowsza odpowiedz). 'Niestety' dalej bardziej zasiegowy jest Instagram.
@Doverox_ Dzięki! To akurat figurki do grania, aktualnie duże zamówienie maluje w trakcie urlopu.
