@JenDerheim I have 3 benches my students love. I use them for reading spots and hen students come to the carpet for instruction. I have a system of allowing 10 kids to sit on the benches per day. The system rotates every 3 days so all students sit on the benches each week!
@MrsK_Priest@Seesaw Hi Karen,
Our lower elementary K-2 uses Seesaw and from what I have heard they really love it. I know my wife has used it for Distance Learning and likes the accessibility and creative assignments on it as well!
As I’m listening to my wife (who is a pediatric PT,) do teletherapy with toddlers & their parents, I can’t help but notice how much she praises them. She’s so encouraging!
And I’m reminded of the fact that our kids will always work harder when they feel better about themselves.
I’m often tempted to finish my days thinking I haven’t done much, or created enough. That’s false, because sometimes, just making it through the day is enough.
We are so excited for our virtual @Flipgrid talent show! Students will be able to record and post videos next week and our show will be live on Tuesday, May 26! Check your Google Classroom for more details! #Theshowmustgoon#talentshow#flipgrid
Wi-fi went out twice, kids can’t hear anything from me, mics not working, and google hangout kicked me out twice... and it’s only Tuesday 😩
but I am thankful that my scholars choose to get on the video chat, engage well with their peers and me, and do their work!
#ThoughtForTheDay Every student & teacher may not respond the way you hoped they would on Zoom each day, but remember, there is greatness in every kid & teacher. See these missteps as opportunities for learning & personal self-growth, for both them...and you. #LiveYourExcellence
