@NotFarLeftAtAll If my maths is correct at 15% Interest with no deposit over 20 years your parents would have paid about £500k (£600k if 25 yeras) for a house now worth £2 million. If they paid it over 25 years they should have been mortgage free by 2014 (if the Mortgage was taken out in 1989).
