Exact trig values from 1833 ... gulp! ... but they do beg the question, why do we continue to teach those for 30°, 45° & 60°? ... they're used exclusively for contrived exam questions ... to what end?
Recruitment crisis...? Zero candidates after three weeks. Job closed today. Literally not one single person interested in what I think is a fantastic role.
Hard to create the next generation of maths teachers if there's no one to teach them A level maths.
Name us a better start to the school day, we’ll wait…. Schools aren’t much without their kitchen staff! Very grateful to them this morning! #AmazingNUSA 😍
@BrookeEHunter @scott_wal25 This is all dependent on your curriculum and sequencing. As your assessments should assess what has been taught. You can easily make tailored assessment using exampro. Or WRM offer a really good all round package. AQA have their own topic assessments, or check out complete maths.
@MrMetacognition@HawesMaths The reason I dislike common denominators is because the method is so similar to +/- , however the denominator ofc does not stay the same.
Today’s my last results day as KS4 lead. It’s been an eventful 5yrs!
Now for my best mate and partner in crime @AViewaskew to pick up the mantle ❤️
The start of an exciting new era for us both!
A huge ‘thank you’ to @MrTWhitfield for all of his work at #AmazingNUSA and Mr Fleming is excited to take on the crown of ‘funniest teacher’ with the #MathsJokes We know you’ll smash your new role as AHT! #TheNUSAWay
