@WhistleblowingT Depends on the school my first school strict no policy, second school in a yr1 class you couldn't stop them hugging you and third placement were year 5 but on my last day they all came for hugs. I think it's ok because sometimes kids need a hug
@TLanokia I do good morning and good afternoon I sometimes get back good morning/afternoon mr Taylor but I don't insist as long as I get a good morning I'm happy it also helps gauge how they're feeling
Ok, I've been inactive for far too long.
I'm currently in my last placement as a student teacher and I'm absolutely loving it. Best mentor, best kids (when they want to be) and I'm feeling really confident in my teaching woooo #teaching#studentteacher

@twinklresources 1000 GLUE STICKS. This is both brilliant and sad that this would be a genuine help. Schools should be able to provide these but lack of funding you guys really are heroes
@Mr_JVD As a student teacher myself I would say treat them with respect but also expect that they know very little and have never worked in a classroom before my first placement teacher made me feel stupid for never being in a classroom setting before with no experience
I currently model by typing using a font called letter write but I was wondering are schools going be hesitant on hiring me because of this? Would love to hear some thoughts #edutwitter
1 of 2. Long absence but Iโm back and have a question for the lovely people of #edutwitter Both my placements so far have commented on my terrible hand writing. This is due to my dyspraxia and Iโve never been able to write to week unless I print
