Congratulations to Sr. SB player Ceanna Gormley on being named the Tamaqua Athlete of the Week (Apr 19-26). Ceanna was 2-1 on the mound w a one hit shutout and 8 strikeouts. At the plate she was 3-6 w 4 runs scored and 4 RBIs. Congrats to Ceanna.

Congratulations to Jake Yenser on being named last week’s (Apr 12-19) TAHS Athlete of the Week. Jake went 5 innings of No-Hit baseball on the mound against Pottsville w 8 Ks. He went 2-4 against Lehighton in a 5-3 win in which he hit a 2-run HR in the 6th inning.
