@_TeachersCoach_ In my ITE year, 1 of the cohort left on receipt of the penultimate payment rather than staying the last month and qualifying.

I appreciate it is a wage whilst training, but it's more than an ECT salary, so surely they could leave a chunk thats to be paid on taking a position?

Last July I cancelled my @PureGym membership as it was cheaper to pay per session locally for how little I could fit in going.

So, was pretty surprised to find payments to them leaving my account last month.

Guessing someone has used my details for some free gym time on me.

Enjoyed a return to the theory and science of teaching at ECT Conference 1 today @Trinityteach.

We learned so much throughout our ITE year, and today really helped reactivate some of that knowledge.

Lots to reflect on 🙏

@Teacherglitter It's good for students to see us occasionally struggle with word pronunciation. Gives us an opportunity to model how we approach a tricky word.

And we can then act like it was completely intentional 😉

After finishing my ITE, I was fortunate to be able to return to industry and take the time to wait for a role at my ideal school.

It came along, I applied, and following my first ever teacher interview, I was offered the position.

Can't wait to be back in the classroom!
