🚨 Big news from afPE! 🚨
Delighted to see the first of our 'afPE approved curriculum resources' gaining their status. The work that has gone into the resources to support the delivery of high quality PE is phenomenal.
Head teachers and PE leads can use any of the afPE approved curriculum resources with confidence knowing that they meet high level criteria. They can now decide which is the best fit for them and their learners.
👏 A huge step forward in supporting schools with trusted, high-quality PE resources.

PE in NI primaries needs reflection and change. The current curriculum encourages a holistic, cross subject approach, yet its narrow sport focus keeps PE sport-driven, not learner-driven - limiting how it meets all learners’ needs. Done differently, PE could offer so much more.
