By far the best school I have worked at-highly forward-thinking and supportive. Teachers are given the freedom to teach in a way that best suits their expertise and students' needs. The pupils are outstanding-highly engaged: https://t.co/LPDH7BLN0Y
@GillianKeegan Maybe spend money on education and not on "trying" to make yourself look good. Tax money should not be used for this. https://t.co/kRIzTp0lJ3.
@physicstp @DocWhalley I often try to promote that the world needs physics/engineering/maths graduates and that you get paid more, the most common reply from a pupil is, so does that mean you get paid well………?
Great discussion on how the habit to delay gratification can be deeply local to one’s culture. With big implications for behaviour in schools as acquired rather than innate.

@ChristineHillCo @tombennett71 In the same way we did before mobile phones, how often is there an emergency? How many times did you need to call home when you were at school? Who's definition emergency, adults or pupils?
@KingfisherPsych Took a few years, but once we got my son into the correct school for his needs, it made a huge difference. He's still a "challenge" but 1000 times better.
Had a wonderful time in Cambridge university with Isaac physics. What CPD should be! Although I forgot to pick up my reward. @isaacphysics@Cambridge_Uni
