They told you physical games are not selling and data PROVED they have great demand🚀
✅They told you backwards compatibility is not possible unless it’s digital or PS+, and modders PROVED them they can work from disc
✅They told you live service is the way to growth and their live service games PROVED them wrong when they flopped and lost them hundreds of millions
✅They told you digital is the future and that you don’t own your games, and countless gamers are speaking out about ownership, including their former president and CEO Shawn Layden, and many respected industry legends
They are telling you streaming could be the future in 3 years, so they can keep you on life support paying forever for their slop to keep “accessing it”.
That’s the future they want for you, and that’s the future you need to vote with your voice and wallets against.
NO DISC 💿 NO BUY
No. It really doesn’t matter what they release on the PS6 I’m not buying a $1000 console to rent $80 games.
As it stands Sony is currently planning to exit the video game market on Jan 1st 2028 as far as I’m concerned.
Sony slowly spiraling downward
Threatening their customers is not a good plan of action. But let's look deeper in what this means. You post anything mean to them here, they will track you down, cut your game service & more
We fought against this in the past. It's too much power
This is still more relevant than ever🚀
I wonder, do we own the books we read and the vinyl records and CDs we play? or is the boogyman gonna come and take them?🤣
SONY is sending out emails updating and reminding people of their PlayStation terms. short version what it says:
- You don't own your digital games, you rent a license
- If a account closed or banned your games are gone, even paid ones
- PlayStation can record your chats, clips, ip address
- Clips you share, they can sell and put ads on and you get no cut
- their liability is capped at £100! This means if Sony screws something up and it costs you money, the most they'll pay you back is £100, no matter how much you actually lost
