So there was this brother I could not not marry

I could not.

And the reason was this:

We would have an argument or a misunderstanding and “mannorgor” could go days without resolving it whilst having a blast in his fellowship with God

I could not understand it

Till now I cannot understand it.

How can you be having a misunderstanding with the woman you claim you love so much and want to marry and you are very busy praying and travailing

How is the Holyspirit not telling you to reconcile?

Well maybe I have not reached that plane in the spirit

But I could not. I gave it more than two years and nothing changed. If anything it got worse

And I know myself. I can’t even go a few hours with unresolved conflict.

Not even with other random people talk more of the man I want to spend the rest of my life with

And so I ended it.

Now I’ve been married for almost two years and I’m glad I took the decision I did.

Because the man I married is like me too. We don’t like conflict. We very QUICKLY resolve it once it pops up. And I think this is one of the keys to a successful and happy marriage.

Because one thing you will have in marriage is regular disagreements. Especially in the initial phase when you’re trying to learn each other.

Oh how different we are as men and women. This could actually be a blessing and a curse depending on perspective.

So if I had a piece of advice for any one not yet hitched?

I would say marry someone that loves peace.

A lot of times they would forgive you and let things go not because of how good your apology was but just because they can’t exist in chaos and conflict
