@gallowaywjohn I'll be getting flashbacks to a school trip to the Auvergne back in 1992. Mr Green drove us up the Puy de Dome in the minibus. I kept my bike geek thoughts of "this is where Johnny Weltz dropped Rolf Golz back in 1988" to myself.
Even back then, I needed to get out more.

@ritchie_dee @itvcycling Rider ID. If they ride back down the mountain to the bus whilst the road is still closed, they will get stopped by police (without the arm band). They are also given whistles so that they can warn spectators that are walking back down the mountain.
