I see some Barcelona fans trying to push the narrative that Kobbie Mainoo is a better midfielder than Jude Bellingham, and this is exactly why they have one of the most, if not the most, comparison-obsessed fanbases.

They love comparing their players to everyone, especially Real Madrid players, and then start crying when the comparison doesn't favour them.

Kobbie Mainoo and Jude Bellingham have no business being compared whatsoever. Comparing who's the better midfielder between an 8 and a number 10 is absurd.

For starters, Jude Bellingham has done way more as a player to even be in this conversation. Mainoo is still a young player with a lot to prove.

If you want to compare Mainoo to someone, Pedri makes far more sense because they play similar positions and have more comparable roles.

If Manchester United fans started saying Kobbie is better than Pedri, those same fans would start crying about how unnecessary the comparison is.

There's no need to compare players. Just give them their flowers without having to talk down on someone else.

The funny part is that #MUFC don't even want to compare Kobbie Mainoo to anybody. We just enjoy what he does for us.

You don't need to talk down on someone to glorify another person.
