I feel sentimentality over pragmatism, here. CANZUK isn’t about anybody’s country becoming anybody else’s territory. It’s about fully autonomous and independent siblings, getting back together on equal terms for mutual benefit. In answer to some comments. Yes. My understanding is not Britains nuclear deterrent is tied up in US UK defence agreements. On going maintenance and management is reliant on the US. But that doesn’t change the fact that the UK has the trigger. But for goodness sake. Why mention nuclear weapons at all.
