Can’t believe it’s already the last week of education classes, time has really flown by. I’ve learnt a lot this school year like managing a classroom, proper teacher etiquette, using tech in education and many other important topics pertaining to teaching. #ICT362
Circuits are a great way to keep everyone active and moving! Fitness and it’s importance is something that needs to continue being focused on in Phys Ed class. #ICT362
Was an interesting end to the week as we we got to learn about the educational side of Minecraft. With many different subject kits available, it allows for a unique and interactive type of learning. #ICT362
I could see this being a very useful strategy to help students calm down. It’s easy to get carried away with excitement or competitiveness in Phys Ed, so this will definitely be something I try in the future. #ICT362
Lately in #ICT362 we’ve been looking at digital stories and what goes into creating them. I’ve really enjoyed learning about this, and have had quite the time creating my own story book on story jumper!

To help end the stigma, we need to continue to talk about mental health. We also need to let people know that it’s ok not to be ok and we should never feel alone. We all have our own struggles and talking about those struggles can help with solving them. #mbedchat
In Park-west School Division where I did my first placement, there are supports through counselling for students and teachers. At Brandon University they too focus on the well-being of profs and students. That’s why I respect the University so much, I never feel alone #mbedchat
I like to set aside time throughout my day to get outside for fresh air, watch tv to relax, and also be physically active by playing sports or working out. This relieves the stress work puts on me and ensures that it won’t negatively impact other parts of my life. #mbedchat
Had a great week in ICT learning about digital literacy! An important topic these days due to the extensive use of technology and social media, especially in schools. #ICT362
