Ss presenting current events today. One chose the news story about our provincial government challenging the federal governmen's ban on single use plastics. We went to @LoraasYXE earlier this year and learned about garbage and recycling. So, many of them asked, "why"?!

The students had a great time with the Ski at School program! For many of the students, it was their first time skiing. Great instructors, great facility and great experience.

First day back with staff and were given a glorious opportunity, again, to have a soft landing and mingle with our colleagues! Some pitch and putt at Crickle Creek!

Very happy that we were able to go to Beaver Creek this year. Couldn't feed the chickadees this year but still lots to see and hear! Certainly had lots of practice removing ticks! Thank you Kelton @Meewasin!

Today for Pi Day, students were introduced/reminded of the number and its significance. We then rolled dice to match the numbers, added the numbers and then just had fun in Writer's Workshop writing about pizzas and pies. #piday2022
