The sister of former minister Adelabu and her twin sons were rescued in record time, and their abductors swiftly apprehended. Every life matters, and that rescue is commendable.

But these poor schoolchildren have spent weeks in captivity, starving and traumatized after being kidnapped by bandits, yet the same urgency seems absent.
