To our brothers and sisters in the Diaspora,
We must remain vigilant against the false and divisive information being deliberately circulated from Kinshasa to create fear, suspicion, and distrust among the population and within AFC/M23. This is a weak and failed scheme whose objective is to confuse our people and weaken their unity.
There is no division whatsoever among the AFC/M23 leadership. Claims suggesting internal fractures, disagreements, or a breakdown of unity should be recognized for what they are: an attempt to manufacture fear and confusion where there is no such division.
Do not allow rumors and fabricated narratives to shake your confidence or turn brother against brother. We must learn to distinguish facts from deliberate misinformation and refuse to become instruments of division.
General Makenga has remained steadfast in his stated commitment to peace, protection, and security for Congolese men and women. The dignity and safety of civilians must remain at the heart of our concerns.
To the Diaspora: do not surrender your judgment to rumors. Do not allow fear to dictate your response. Verify information, demand evidence, and stand for truth.
Our communities have endured enough suffering and uncertainty. What we need is clarity, solidarity, responsibility, and a commitment to protecting innocent people.
Let misinformation fail. Let truth prevail. Let unity overcome division. And let the voice of the Diaspora remain grounded in facts, dignity, and the pursuit of peace and security for our people.
