There was absolutely no reason to flatten his/her/its face the way you press a vada into the bottom pav while making vada-pav. Then apply chutney on the upper pav, or is it applied on the bottom pav? Anyway, then put the upper pav on top, press a bit more gently, and serve with green chillies. Awesome taste!

There was a time when Japan, practically a western economy in the East, was the economic powerhouse of the world, next only to the U.S. Japan was first pushed away by China, and then Germany. Now, India has surpassed Japan. By the time Donald Trump leaves office, India would be the world’s third largest economy. Britain is not even in the picture.

This is not a call for hubris. India has to do a lot in modernising its cities, building infrastructure, lifting living standards and improving the overall quality of life, rooted in social harmony and collective prosperity. India has to do more in manufacturing and innovation. Tackling these challenges should be the top priority of any dispensation that’s interested in further developing the country’s comprehensive national power. But the challenges should not play down the macroeconomic and geopolitical indicators either. The global economic balance of power is shifting (the world is economically multipolar today), and India and China will unmistakably be the power houses of the 21st century.
