The Friday Mosque of Zaria shows the sophistication of Hausa architecture in northern Nigeria. Golden brown, well-sliced, as a responsible husband and law-abiding citizen of the household, I positioned myself patiently, believing that in the spirit of marriage, partnership, and the vows we all witnessed that day, a portion would naturally find its way to me. But sir, nothing came.

Sir, I’m not calling to fight. I just felt it was important that you, as her father, are aware of the operational pattern we are witnessing here. Maybe there was an instruction manual that did not get to me during the handover ceremony.
