Hold on, A life was lost but your focus is on something mundane, which I’m quite sure when looked into, wouldn’t be what you’re insinuating here, it’s not your fault though, it really isn’t.
Who organises a campaign rally at an airport, of all places?
Who authorised a political party to hold a campaign rally at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu?
Was it the police, Ministry of Aviation, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), or some other authority? Who gave the approval?
Or did some political desperados and governorship wannabes simply take the law into their own hands, turning an international airport into a campaign rally ground?
Calls for Introspection as a people, we really need to look within. A lot of Nigerians aren’t good people, most of them opportunists claiming to fight for Nigeria.
I mean look at this, what would give Mbah the guts to do this if not that my leader keeps ignoring these clowns. Mbah adopted Obi’s slogan to win in 2023. Again it’s time for him to take the fight to these guys.
Happening now:
“Are we still practising democracy here in Enugu and Nigeria? Security operatives should hand gūns over to us since…”
Serious chaos in Enugu this afternoon as NDC supporters reportedly fought back against thugs who att@cked them after they welcomed the party’s governorship candidate.

I agree, not sure why Obi is a bit skittish or careful with continuously bashing Tinubu, yes I get he wants to face the issues, but in the rural parts of Nigeria, issues rarely decide outcome. He should start heating the polity as well.
I love Atiku's aggressive tone in that press conference. Whoever wrote his speech did a great job.
Beyond the rhetoric of capacity, competence, and character, there is a need to show force, some bit of aggression or propensity for craziness.
Mr Economist, kindly do a comparative analysis of Per capita, purchasing power parity and GDP of both countries. In some parts of Nigeria estimated electricity bills are still a thing, people earn poorly, yet pay these bills without commensurate value.
Exactly! It’s why I say it’s funny that Nigerians want high income and demand low prices at the same time.
And ironically, Nigerians don’t see that low artificial prices are what perpetuate poverty here.
The gap between a 2:2 and a third class is so wide. With a 2:2 pursuing a PGD is very easy, in the Job market as well there’s a chance you get a job, whereas for a 3rd class it’s almost non-existent.
Unpopular opinion: If you graduate with a 2:2 or Third Class, consider going back to school for another degree. 🎓
I honestly think a 2:1 should be the minimum target.
Body language is a thing, Bisalla argued till his death that he wasn’t part of the plan to assassinate Murtala, but “the boys” took his body language and quite whispers as support.
Whether we like it or not, Obi needs to change posture so as to inspire.
This gimmick no de tire una😂
All he needs to do is campaign and campaign hard, if we’re not ready to overwhelmingly vote & protect it, make Tinubu continue, e no hard pass like that.
He will never call for violence, know this & know peace.
@ainyangetoh I am not sure why comprehension should be mentioned here, there is nothing complex about your write-up, Nobody needs to be begged as well, you get people on your team based off shared values or mutual interest, it’s that simple.
Man, you people say the most condescending things yet wonder why folks don’t gravitate towards you, In which world would something like this endear any right thinking person to you ?
Naaaaa. As much as I understand why you’d try to use this analogy to encourage them, quite frankly it’s not the same. The supporters of the likes of OUK would be in the minority, as far as it’s in the East.
What the Yorubas supporting Peter Obi rather than the inept Tinubu are facing right now, is what we the Igbos that will outrightly REJECT likes of OUK, Dave Umahi, Soludo, Chimaroke, and the rest of the bungling politicians from the SE that ever intends to run and ruin this country, will face for not supporting them anytime in the future.
I mean, they already even branded us ‘Lagos Igbos’ for slur. So imagine what they’d do to us (God keep us alive) then.
So, do not wither. Nigeria today is clear enough to overcome any tribal gaslighting or pejoratives.
Recently I argued with some of my guys that obi wan never going to accept to be Atiku's VP and its for reasons like this , the whole support for him is backed by tribal sentiments he was never going to be a VP to a northerner in 2027 for him it's better tinubu wins
Sometimes I want to curse Nigeria for almost turning me to a clown, why did I, as a 7 yr old pray to God just so that he touches Nepa officials to bring light.
Not sure about the logic behind opposition facing Opposition. There’s no upside to it, you won’t sway his supporters your way neither would you sway the incumbent’s folks. So what’s the end game ?
You said this stuff before and I corrected you. Govs decamping to APC have nothing to do with regular folks aligning with the party. No south eastern gov will win his state for Tinubu.
The funniest thing about all of this is that APC has governors in all the zones in the country. All of their governors love Tinubu. They call him daddy. Yet those governors will still win elections. Yorubas are the ones voting for them?
You know what you’re doing. Continue scrutinizing and leave the message itself, I have never seen a thing like this, shouldn’t this heat be for Tinubu?
@iykimo I don’t hate Atiku, I wanted both of them to run together, I only highlighted what persons have speculated that led to the split, anyways it happened and I have chosen to side with Obi.
