Halo is the flagship IP for XBOX and it has underperformed for 14 years so they gave it to Activison who has consistenly delivered a high performing FPS franchise since 2007

Obsidian is working on the next Fallout so aligning them with Bethesda also makes sense

Turn 10 and Playground merging is another no brainer

Ninja Theory closing is awful and 268 people losing their jobs is terrible but Asha Sharma said they were resetting Xbox and she wasn't bluffing so these moves align

Activision will make Halo, Rare is also under Axtivision.
Obsidian is under Bethesda making a new Fallout game, and continues making its own games.
Turn 10 and Playground to join studios to make Forza and Fable.
Ninja theory to be sold after failing to sell.
