@AP There's roughly 270 million adults in the US. $5000 to every adult would be $1.35 trillion. Current deficit spending is $1.8 trillion. So he wants to pretty much DOUBLE the deficit and he that's a GOOD idea? Even ignoring the illegality, it's ridiculous just on the face of it.

Then you have to consider the fact that a full 1/3 of eligible voters didn't vote, so he really only had the support of 1/3 of US. Anyone with principles would readily admit that.
