7.45M $TAO is staked
thats nearly 67% of the entire issued supply
price got smoked but holders kept locking up more
people watching the chart see weakness
people watching the network see conviction
NVIDIA is paying attention to Bittensor $TAO
Out of 33 total companies, 7 subnets were accepted into NVIDIA Inception.
That's 21%.

🦔AI companies are bulk-buying rare books, scanning them through high-speed machines that cut the spines off, and shredding the originals. A service called ISBNdb facilitates orders of up to a million books and keeps buyers anonymous. Pre-2022 books are premium because they're free of AI-generated text. A federal judge ruled the practice is fair use because eliminating the original means only one copy exists at a time. Anthropic hired the former head of Google Books partnerships to obtain "all the books in the world."
My Take
This got to me. A bookseller told 404 Media that rare books with almost no surviving copies are being fed into this pipeline. Books that survived wars, fires, and centuries of handling are being shredded so an AI can learn to write a better marketing email.
ISBNdb's website literally says "'AI company destroys two million books' is not a headline that generates sympathy," and they still built an entire business around making it happen quietly. They offer NDAs as a feature. They coach clients to call it "digital preservation."
I've covered AI companies scraping the internet, torrenting libraries, and stealing music. This is worse because it's irreversible. You can re-upload a website. You can reprint a bestseller. You can't replace the last three copies of an 18th-century botanical text once someone shreds them for training data. And the judge said it's legal. So it's going to accelerate.
"We shred rare books and offer NDAs so nobody finds out" is a legitimate business model in 2026. What a timeline.

I increasingly think that we are at the almost-incomprehensible intersection of a #FourthTurning climax and a once-in-500-hundred-years Sovereign Individual paradigm shift for humanity.
I’m here for it. 🍿
Senator @JeffMerkley proves how stupid or dishonest Members of Congress are. He wants to block the Clarity Act to prevent Trump from abusing his power and profiting off crypto. The ENTIRE reason Trump’s made $1.4 billion is because there is NO CLARITY IN PLACE. Moreover, Trump will Continue profiting WITHOUT CLARITY. In the meantime, customer accounts and funds remain in jeopardy and businesses will move offshore. These people are insanely dumb.
A MAJOR update to bittensor:native is coming very soon
This is going to change the way investors look at subnets & the way the network will operate moving forward
If you're holding ANY Bittensor you need to see this
People are going to look back at #Bittensor..
And realise the worlds smartest and most powerful minds were all describing the exact same problem it was built to solve
CEOs expressing the need for open source AI.. while others were lobbying for its destruction to keep control
Governments restricting access to intelligence.. then handing it to their mates
The universal need for intelligence that nobody could own.. censor or switch off
Then.. people will go back to the $TAO chart..
And see it was trading..
Checks chart
Under $200 fucking dollars
The solution was sitting directly in front of everyone..
But most were too distracted by the volatility of price to understand what they were supposed to looking at
And they’ll be wondering how the fuck they missed it
$TAO
Bittensor's $TAO emissions just got an update:
Under the new structure, the protocol first ranks subnets in order of emissions share under the current formula: EMA price * (1- miner burn %)
It then sets a gate at 61% of the ranked values. Subnets below that gate have their emissions heavily throttled. Subnets above it get more.
In short, higher emissions concentrations to the subnets whose tokens the market values most.
For those in the know - the Bittensor chain updated twice today.
Spec change 440 changes the way tao is distributed to subnets:
What was 'emission' yesterday is now called 'demand', and it is run through a gate function to determine subnet emission:

Wanna know the truth about what's actually in the Clarity Act and what's not? Take a took at the thread below from @crypto_council.
Let's get the Clarity Act passed NOW!.
The entire tech industry (save for Anthropic) has come out in favor of open source AI.
So what happens next? Will Anthropic change its lobbying efforts? Not likely. Now the gaslighting begins:
“Nobody is trying to ban open source.”
“We just want to limit who can use it.”
“We just want to limit who can contribute to it.”
“We just want to limit how powerful those models can be.”
“We just want to make sure the guardrails (we lobbied for) can’t be removed.”
The net effect will be the same. They won’t stop until they kneecap open source. The rest of the industry needs to watch these guys like a hawk.
