@CourtneyRuff1@ksgangwish I would love to be able to explore with new technologies, because I sometimes feel like I can't juggle them all! Once I feel more comfortable using technology every day, I would love to branch out more! #TED8550Apr21
@ksgangwish Embrace the funny side of teaching. Memes can be a great tool as checks for understanding at the end of a topic, or to help out with student-led clubs or activities. I would love to have my class create one together after we have finished a S.S. or Sci. subject.#TED8550Apr21
@ksgangwish He wanted to create a new project for his students, and told them they were to creat "Math themed memes" and would submit them once finished. They had to have Math content, or about his class in general. He had over 100 submitted!
@EvangelosBeard1 @ksgangwish Yes! My article had the same concept as yours, and I love finding new ways to bring fun and games into the classroom that are *actually* educational. #TED8550Apr21
@supinomaha@ksgangwish I can honestly say I have been guilty of saying this during my time teaching, but this year my perspective has changed so much. It feels good to figure out new, and exciting things that are different and that my kids will enjoy!
@TurnUpSuccess@ksgangwish Yes!! I would love professional development that is actually meaningful and shows me things I will actually use in the classroom to benefit my students.
@ksgangwish I feel like I have adapted my thinking like society has adapted as a whole. I was one who didn't like technology until I had to depend on it. There are so many creative resources out there for kids to make their own and dive deeper into their thinking and it is so easy to use.
@ksgangwish QuickTime Player! I use it multiple times a day as a Doc camera for my Remote students to watch my lessons and also to project for my student in person, at the same time. Such a lifesaver when trying to teach to both sets of students!
@SusanHa08720259@ksgangwish I am so glad these are focused around what I have been trying to do this year! It is such a whirlwind to try and teach virtually the same way that you would try and teach in the classroom.
