@SusanHa08720259@ksgangwish When I was my HS yearbook editor, we were cropping printed pictures on paper grid layout sheets with handheld cropping tools. Things have come a long way! #TED8550Feb21
@MrsAschCP1st@ksgangwish#TED8550Feb21 Yes! Think about how awkward Zoom was for a long time and now it doesn't even phase me. The same thing happend when email started. Both are now normal forms of communication and all about the tool, not the flashy new trend.
@ksgangwish High quality professional development needs to be embedded into the regular school day with tech coaches who train teachers along with their students on how to use apps that level up thinking and creativity.
@ksgangwish I love EdPuzzle. If I was still in the classroom, I would use the flipped model and engage learners individually using that tool. I'm taking advanced stats now with Dr. Ostler and I rewatch portions of his videos several times as I'm working through problems.#TED8550Feb21
@supinomaha@ksgangwish There's an ed tech instructional model for this. TPACK, TIM, SAMR -- I forgot which one, or maybe all of them embrace this concept.#TED8550Feb21
@MadsenUno@ksgangwish Yes! I'm finding more and more students who need to be guided through activities, both on technology and off. It's easy to take for granted what you assume they know and should be able to do.
