Let’s end off the week with a little creativity! Below is a Scribble art page. I have drawn a scribble on the page. Your job is to get creative and decide what that scribble can become! I can’t wait to see all of your brilliant ideas 👩🏻🎨👨🏾🎨
Here are today’s learning tasks! First a writing prompt. The story has been started for you, your job is to decide what happens next!🕴🏼There is a narrative checklist to help you write your best. There are two addition math challenges. Read instructions carefully, and good luck!👍🏻
Today’s tasks include a RazKids reading check-in (see first image) and a math challenge. There are also assignments waiting. If you can use a microphone please record yourself reading the passage for me to listen to. Can’t wait to hear your voices!🎤📖 Don’t forgert Dreambox!
Follow this link to a free typing tutorial website. Technology has become a part of our everyday lives, so there is no better time to brush up on those typing skills. ⌨️https://t.co/MItSqjlw0q
I've also attached another math problem. I'm excited to see which strategies you use.
Here are some at-home learning tasks students can try out this week. I will post solutions once everyone has had a chance to try these out. Students only need paper and something to write with. 📝Good luck everyone!
On a typical Friday we kickstart our brains with @Google Mystery Animal. You have 20 yes or no questions to try and discover what the animal. Try playing with your family and see if you can solve the mystery! 🕵🏻♀️ https://t.co/Af0ksAbRvO #oodinsidetheeaglesnest
We have been studying clouds for awhile now, so today we tried making some of our own! We made three different clouds in a jar, and used the third jar to demonstrate how heavy water droplets must be in order to fall as rain. ☁️🧑🏻🔬🌧 #oodinsidetheeaglesnest
How cute are these ladybugs crafts?! We used these to help us explore the connection between subtraction and addition. ➕🐞➖ They are coming home today! #oodmath
We are continuing to explore clouds and spend some time outside today to make cloud observations. We continue to study different types of clouds, and will make three more observations this week. ☁️👀📋 #oodinsidetheeaglesnest
Keep your eyes open for some reading sheets coking home tonight! 👀 These are a great way for your child to show you what they can do, and for you to practice with them as well. Happy reading everyone! 😊📚 #oodliteracy@HDSBLiteracy
Today students took part in an “I Spy” subtraction challenge. Eight subtraction question were hidden around the classroom. Students were in a race to find and solve all 8 equations correctly. 🕵🏽♀️➖🕵🏼♂️ #oodmath
Our new science unit has begun! It is focused on understanding water and air in the environment. It is important that students know the learning goal, so I keep this posted while we are working through the unit. ☁️🌧💧🌨❄️🌬🌫 #oodinsidetheeaglesnest
