Student-led conferences are my FAVORITE!! Ss taking ownership of learning, communicating MAP scores & goals w/families, & demonstrating the hard work 💪 being done in 3rd grade is the most rewarding teacher moment ❤️.

@watterson_elem 3rd graders had a VERY special guest reader today. @AGT winner @dustintavella read some 📚, answered some ?s, and even performed a little 🪄 . The Ss were SO excited to meet him 🥰. Thank you for making their (& teachers) day, Dustin!! You are a true inspiration!

@watterson_elem Learning is FUN! Used a word study analysis to determine individual needs, then gave Ss tools to learn in an engaging way. Play-doh, Wiki Stix, shaving cream, & magnetic letters... student yells "BEST SCHOOL DAY EVER!"🥰
