@rose_symphony3 Not an unpopular opinion at all. I think it’s refreshing to see a different portrayal of a 14 year old to that we usually see in soaps. If she’s allegedly a bit young for her age, what’s wrong with that?
@memenders_ No recast needed here. What’s a typical 14 year old anyway? To see Lexi, is a refreshing change from the stereotypical teenagers usually portrayed in soaps. I think she often shows a maturity and empathy well beyond her years.
@bbceastenders@BBCOne@BBCiPlayer Absolutely hang your head in shame Callum. Some self reflection here wouldn’t hurt either. It’s extraordinary not only how swiftly he ended his marriage, but then moving his new bf (who he cheated with) into the home he shares with Lexi. And the viewers are expected to accept it?
@4callumiwould I noticed he also didn’t deny still having feelings for Ben, but unfortunately I don’t have any expectations it actually means anything!
@takethe_highway@lasagneinmyshoe I hope at some point Callum finds out about Linda killing Keanu, that Johnny helped cover it up, manipulated him to not investigate & has kept it from him ever since. #perfectboyfriend
@FreeAllAngels It’s the senselessness of squandering that I’m struggling with. You can’t just recreate it. When you hit the jackpot like that, surely you nurture and protect it
@patsearrlngs Interesting. I haven’t watched today’s & have no plans to. I’ve only seen brief spoilers for next week & posts in response to those on here. Have to say I’m picking up vague Ben/Lewis-esque vibes, which if intended is not ok
@benapologist Thx for the tip off. I can’t be watching that. Saw an entire episode yesterday for the first time in months, can’t say I enjoyed it. Shan’t be doing that again. If they don’t care about characters & relationships viewers are invested in, how can they expect us to still care? 😞
@ColdMotherWall@movlinsrouge A whinging, whiny, entitled bellend. Who is encouraged and supported in his bellend behaviour by his hypocritical mother & inconsiderate grandmother. I’m firmly in the anti-Carter/Peacock camp these days. Except Annie & Ollie, they haven’t fecked me off, just yet
Linda, only now you’re concerned about Johnny being hurt? Not so long ago you were asking Callum how he liked his eggs in the morning. Couldn’t care less about feelings being hurt & being honest then. Ah I get it. Only Johnny’s feelings matter.
@mayflower271@lasagneinmyshoe Good question actually. Not so long ago he was splashing the cash in an attempt to win Lexi over. Wonder if he’s continued over spending ever since? Him jeopardising his business & Lexi still disliking him would be the kind of poetic justice I’d love to see
@ClairMckenzie@bbceastenders@BBCOne@BBCiPlayer The moral compass has been declining for ages. One of the reasons I can’t engage anymore. No real consequences. Shoddy retconning. How are we supposed to care when there’s no real meaning or purpose to anything?
@TheTuftandQuiff@bbceastenders@BBCOne@BBCiPlayer The flawed logic & hypocrisy from Elaine & Linda is frustrating to watch. Johnny is a grown man who has made dreadful choices throughout whatever this thing is with Callum. Acknowledge that at least please!
