Thanks to these two Rolla Middle School students that stopped by Troop Headquarters to thank the men and women of the MSHP - Troop I, for their service. They brought water and some sweat treats.
@Coach_Costello@DrBradJohnson@CoachJFry Our building is just doing one subject a day and no more than 50minutes. Option 1 is tech related and option 2 is not. It’s pushed out via website, email, and GC, but mailed for those that we know don’t have tech. It’s all review and not for a grade. I love our approach🤷🏻♀️
*Flash forward to teaching in 2050*
Teacher: So let's say Cindy buys 120 rolls of toilet paper, and…
Student: That’s not realistic!
Teacher: Now let me tell you about what happened in 2020…
So, @GovParsonMO @MissouriSenate@MOEducation@MOHouseGOP@MOHouseDems, just checking...schools can't be trusted to use local control in deciding their school calendars, but we are trusted/expected to make this decision? Gotcha, thanks.
@TurboPenguin84@MSHSAAOrg You do realize MSHSAA had these children and people around less people this past weekend than if they had been at school since all of us are still in school? 🤷🏻♀️
Admin, while one of the tougher aspects of your job, supporting your teachers with student discipline in the classrooms and supporting them with parents, it is also one of the most important aspects of your job. If teachers don’t know you have their back, they wont be committed.
High expectations are meaningless unless students know how to reach them. They are achieved when students understand WHAT they need to do, WHY, and given the HOW, which are the tools, support, and encouragement to achieve them. Success/ achievement is a process not a product.
