@GretchenPSmith Customer's aren't meant to be the hole in their wage gap either. Either raise prices so they can pay wages or accept that tipping is a voluntary action. If it's mandatory, it's no longer a tip, it's a wage adjustment because their boss is too cheap to pay them.
