Cookie mining in AP Environmental Science! Going thru the mining process from buying land (cookie)&equipment (toothpicks, paper clips), to mining the ore (chocolate chips), processing the ore, then reclaiming the land & possibly facing environmental fines depending on how messy!

The Bioskills Lab @BeaconOrtho was amazing! Students learned about shoulder anatomy & got to use surgical equipment on human tissue. The hands-on experience, the learning that this is what I want to do (or not) for the rest of my life, and the knowledge gained was so incredible!

After a few year hiatus due to Covid, the AS A&P cadaver lab field trip to Cincy State is back! The students were able to view 2 cadavers & participate in a reproduction & development station activity. Afterwards, 37 high schoolers (and 1 teacher) absolutely destroyed 11.5 pizzas
