Iraqi Snapchat Groomer Jailed For Trafficking & Sexually Abusing Seven Young Girls.

An Iraqi national who posed as a friend on Snapchat to lure vulnerable schoolgirls with cash, vapes, drugs and taxi rides before subjecting them to horrific sexual abuse has been jailed for nearly three decades.

Bawan Harwe, 28, was sentenced to 29 years in prison at Sheffield Crown Court today, with a further three years on extended licence.

Judge Sarah Wright delivered the stern warning as gasps echoed around the public gallery: "The harm you have caused is of unimaginable proportions. The impact of your offending upon the victims, their families and indeed the wider community has been devastating. Their childhood and adolescence can never be reclaimed."

Harwe, a shop worker in Doncaster was convicted of eight counts of rape, two counts of meeting a child following sexual grooming, two counts of false imprisonment, and six counts of arranging or facilitating the travel of children for sexual exploitation. He had already pleaded guilty to one count of raping a girl under 13.

Between June and August 2024, Harwe and his Iranian accomplice Sharam Muhamadi, 21, used fake Snapchat profiles to target seven girls from Barnsley, driving them to Doncaster for prolonged abuse.

The pair offered the youngsters, some as young as 12, money, vapes, alcohol and drugs to build their trust before plying them with substances and raping them.

Six of the girls were given alcohol and drugs before being raped by Harwe. The court heard evidence of grooming, false imprisonment and the irreversible trauma inflicted on the victims, many of whom knew each other.

The investigation began after one girl went missing and disclosed the abuse to officers, sparking a major investigation by South Yorkshire Police’s Barnsley Child Exploitation Team.

During the four-week trial, Harwe, speaking through a taxpayer-funded interpreter, claimed he believed the girls were over 16 and that any sex was consensual. The jury rejected his defence entirely.

Muhamadi, who failed to appear for much of the trial and is now on the run, was convicted in his absence of two counts of facilitating the travel of children for sexual exploitation. He will be sentenced once caught.

Judge Wright praised the courage of the seven young victims who came forward, saying their bravery had brought the monsters to justice.

A police spokesman said: "The bravery of these girls cannot be overstated. We hope today's sentence brings them some sense of justice."

South Yorkshire Police urged anyone with information on Muhamadi’s whereabouts to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

'Asylum seeker' Sheraz Malik, a Pakistani, has received a 10 year jail sentence for raping a 'particularly vulnerable' 18 year old woman.

The judge said...

'When she tried to resist, you hit her hard to the face and head.'

She was 'very drunk'.

'Some of the things you said to her did... amount to additional degradation and humiliation of her.'

Malik called her 'a slut' repeatedly after the attack.

This happened shortly after she was raped by another man Malik was with.

Malik was assisted in court by a Pashto interpreter.

What are we doing to ourselves?

Pakistan uses the death penalty.

Until Restore Britain gets in - I say send Malik home, and let him face the Pakistani justice system.

A local parent has reported a concerning incident on Denmark Street in Belfast’s Shankill district this morning.

Her son, Charlie, missed his school bus and was walking to his grandmother’s home when, at approximately 8:45 a.m., he was passed by an individual carrying a knife. The street lies in a residential neighbourhood where children routinely walk to school and the nearby Denmark Street Community Centre.
