@vincegalea82 Exactly @vincegalea82! We always need to get to root of behaviour which is often symptomatic of something else (family situations, poverty, academics, etc.). I have learned this through experience. We don’t realize how much our students are dealing with outside of school.

Changing use of word “Indian” is a start. Antiquated views & language risk the integrity of their mission statement. Robust representation of marginalized groups on SEACs will ensure needs of racialized special education students/families are being met. @vincegalea82 #SPEDAQ20
