Sometimes He has to close a door so that He can open a bigger door. He’ll move a person out of your life because they’re limiting your growth. What looks like a disappointment is really the hand of God ordering your steps.
Take the pressure off. Your destiny is not contingent on people liking you. Their approval is not keeping you from your purpose. You don’t have to prove to them that you’re good enough. You’re already good enough. Be confident in who God made you to be.
You don’t have to try to hide your scars, be embarrassed by what you’ve been through. You can be at peace with your scars. Those scars are your testimony. Those scars are your story.

You have a space that belongs only to you. It’s your thoughts, your attitude, your emotions. It’s who you spend time with, what you watch, what you listen to. That’s your atmosphere. That’s what you have control over.

To imagine new possibilities.
And to open our hearts just a little more to one another.

It may be dark in your life right now, but don’t let the dark fool you. It may have been meant to stop you, but the good news is God has overruled that scheme. He’s thwarting the plans of the enemy. That darkness is not going to last.
Just because you’ve given up, doesn’t mean God has given up. God doesn’t abort dreams. The delays, the detours, the disappointments, didn’t stop God’s plan. What He started in your life, He’s going to finish.
