@SpencerNoble20 Students use tables and chairs for the most part. But I have wobble seats if they chose to use them. I also allow them to work on the floor or they can use lap desk.
@misswebber23 In our district it varies from grade level to grade level. The class sizes are smaller in the lower elementary grades than the upper elementary grades. They vary from 15-24 students.
@teacher2teacher I like to play fun get to know you games. Last year, I wrote questions on a beach ball. Students threw the ball to their classmates and answered the questions they landed on. #edchat

Another resource that was shared on the Science of Reading Podcast is https://t.co/a21SLnd3Cz. It has tools for teachers and parents of English Learners. It also has resources for MTSS specifically for ELs. #552bobcat
On the Science of Reading Podcast, they shared https://t.co/u7CdO30cX6 which is a website that teaches you about 90+ languages. This can help you if you have students who speak another language other than English. #552bobcat

Isabel and her Colores Go Back to School is one of my favorite back to school picture books! What are some of your favorite beginning of the school year read alouds?
@MrsLikens I have a calming basket with fidgets. Students are able to use this basket when they are feeling frustrated or just need a break. I have a timer so students can start the timer (2-5 min) and come back to work once the time is up.
@SpencerNoble20 I love using Google tools in my classroom! I use Google Classroom to assign assignments or post links to other websites or videos about different topics.
